Bekah Wells is a victims' rights attorney.

But she is not only an attorney for victims—she is also a survivor of abuse herself. In 2013, she was one of the first women in the United States to file a "revenge porn" lawsuit and use her voice to publicly speak out against her perpetrator on an international level. As a result, she lived the legal intricacies involved in a "revenge porn" case and she understands the unique trauma that victims suffer when their intimate photos are published online.

Her various media appearances and interviews include Katie Couric, USA Today, Geraldo, The Economist, and Forbes, among others, and she has written for The New York Times. She has also been a research contributor for the Daily Beast, using the expertise in technology she acquired as a victim of cybercrime.
